Riverside Grace Brethren Church

Project Name	Riverside Grace Brethren Church Riverside Christian Academy
Location	Davidsville, Pennsylvania, 15928
Description	This building is the first phase of a three-phase master building plan. The first phase building is designed to provide the following: 290 seat monumental Sanctuary space with skylight gymnasium with regulation basketball court classrooms divisible for Sunday School use office areas for church and school usage kitchen facilities Energy cost and energy conservation were major considerations in planning this building. This resulted in a compact building plan, careful use of fenestration, super-insulation, a free cooling ventilation system, day lighting of Sanctuary, zoned HVAC, and the use of coal fueled boiler. The structure was designed to alter the gymnasium and Sanctuary area into two floors in future expansion. Building cost studies resulted in choosing the exterior skin and structure of split face concrete block and a roof construction of steel open-web joist, metal deck, insulation board, and single-ply membrane roofing.

Project Name	Our Mother of Sorrows Church and School
Location	415 Tioga Street Johnstown, Pennsylvania, 15905
Description	Phase I - Alterations to School, Parish and Convent Building Phase II - Church Renovations. The two phases of this project included improvements to four buildings of the Church's campus: the Church, the School, the Rectory and the Convent. Various renovations to the Church and School were made to comply with building codes. Each of the buildings was investigated for maintenance needs and desired functional improvements. Lighting and esthetic enhancements were considered as well. The resulting project included: Sanctuary lighting, storm window installation, restroom addition to Church, door replacements, slate and limestone flooring for Church building, roof replacements, sidewalks and curbs, and decorative paver areas.
